Children's Activities At Cobblers Cove
With
an array of activities available geared toward boys and girls, the Arts & Crafts
program encourages children to create collages and jewelry from stones
and seashells scavenged from the beach or create memorable scrapbooks
of their Cobblers Cove vacation. Children can also learn how to create
shadow puppets and later present a shadow puppet production for their
parents.
The
Arts and Crafts facility offers everything a child needs to create,
imagine and play. Materials include paints, crayons, stencils, card
and paper etc. In addition there is a library of children’s books,
a toy library and bean bags for reading.
For
activities outside, Cobblers Cove offers children-friendly excursions
to many of Barbados’ attractions including the Animal Sanctuary, Flower
Forest, Ocean Park, and Graham Hall Nature Reserve. Spend the day at
the beach swimming with sea turtles, hibiscus-hunt in the lush gardens
and explore the natural grounds where mongoose and monkeys scamper
about. The Resort is perfect for the busy family looking for quality
time together as well as for parents who need a little alone time as
children can keep themselves occupied through the Arts & Crafts activities.

There
is a Children's Arts & Craft Room located at the south of the property
for children 2 - 12 years. During Christmas, Easter, July and August supervision
is available daily between 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

We
have a number of dedicated baby sitters who can be called upon
to look after children at an additional cost. (24 hours notice appreciated.)
Equipment
We
have the following available upon request, at no additional charge: cribs,
high chairs, children's books, toys, kettles.

Meals
Children
are encouraged to have dinner between 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. A special balanced
and nutritious children's menu is available at all times. Children under
5 are not permitted in the bar & lounge after 7:00 p.m.
