Camelot Restaurant

At the heart of Cobblers Cove, and in a culinary league all of its own, the Camelot Restaurant is recognised as serving some of the best food in Barbados. The award-winning restaurant even held the Barbados Hotel & Tourism Association's 'Restaurant of the Year' accolade for 2014-15. 

Chef Jason Joseph and his team source as many of their ingredients as possible from local suppliers to make sure only the freshest ingredients are used to bring the taste of the island to Camelot guests. Local fisherman Barker brings freshly caught fish to the Camelot Restaurant each day.

Cobblers Cove’s reputation for excellence in cuisine has earned the hotel its 5 star recognition from the Relais & Châteaux group, whose emphasis on food and wine has set the culinary bar at the highest level.

We are delighted to have Jason Joseph as Head Chef at our award-winning Camelot Restaurant. Jason, who joined the restaurant in 2008, has been instrumental in creating the impeccable dishes that make Cobblers Cove a destination for food lovers everywhere.

Bajan-born Head Chef Jason Joseph started his career after graduating with a degree in Culinary Arts in 2002. His resilient passion and talent for creating new dishes has made him a respected and regular competitor at local, regional and international food showcases.

Jason has successfully participated in ‘Barbados Chef of the Year’, ‘Taste of Caribbean’, ‘Americas Chef Cook-Off’ in Miami and the ‘Gourmet Taste’ at Holders, Barbados. In 2014, he achieved his most prestigious accolade to date - Gold for the Governor General’s Award of Excellence in the NIFCA Culinary Arts Professional Cook-Off.

Jason was promoted to Head Chef at Camelot Restaurant in September 2015, after occupying the role of Sous Chef since 2008.
